I call her Mary - The Process of Making Art

I call this leaf illustration Mary. I begin a leaf drawing without knowing what I'm doing. Eventually, I begin to see patterns, if I draw the same motif on both sides of the centre line. Consistency, and concentration are key. I somehow get into this flow state where I forget everything else and just focus on the drawing. I think this experience is true for most artists, beginner or advanced. Making art for me is both terrifying and blissful at the same time.
