This leaf illustration started off as a series of mistakes that I tried to correct and I think it came out ok. I usually don't use paint. Why? Because I'm too lazy to keep my brushes in good shape. Too messy. Although in this case it came in handy to cover up some line work and colour that I didn't like. I wonder how other artists deal with mistakes. Like when you've been drawing all day only to find you really don't like the outcome and there is no way to save it. I wish drawing in marker and ink had an undo button though, in the end, I really do learn so much through my mistakes. How do you deal with mistakes?
